Each year in November a ceremony is held at the Crystal Castle in conjunction with the Natural Death Care Centre, to celebrate the Day of the Dead, and together with the Natural Death Care Centre and community, we have created the “Forest of Friends and Family” as a permanent and sacred place we can go to honour and connect with the memory of those we have loved and lost.
This beautiful Quandong Grove provides an inherent sacredness and natural home for quiet contemplation, memories and the scattering of ashes.
The names of those loved ones are recorded in a Book of Remembrance and at the annual ceremony their names are read out.
We invite you, as you walk through the beautiful grove, to remember your family or friends who have passed on.
“You were born a child of light’s wonderful secret – you return to the beauty you have always been.”
