The Lotus Cafe offers breathtaking views of the Byron hinterland and the beautiful Shambhala Gardens.
Enjoy local, organic coffee and teas, a variety of nutritious snacks and vegetarian meals drawing inspiration from global cuisines. Our delicious cakes are baked on the premises and we offer a selection of fresh juices and smoothies.
To lower our carbon footprint and expand on our Castle-grown organic produce, we have created our very own organic food garden, from which we harvest fresh seasonal produce daily.
We cater to a large variety of dietary requirements including vegan, gluten free, dairy free and sugar free. We use naturally occurring sugars and unprocessed sugar alternatives in our recipes to enhance the nutritional profile of our fresh treats. Try our homemade sugar free vanilla ice cream and vanilla syrup or our flavoured lassies!
We create dishes with wellness in mind, while still giving you delicious meals and delectable, sweet desserts, served on fully compostable crockery and cutlery.
All your food is homemade in our kitchen with a selection of daily specials. Whether it’s a fine cup of coffee, a mouthwatering homemade dessert, or a delicious lunch, we’ve got something to tempt you!
The ‘Fireheart’ Crystal Dragon Playground sits right next to the Lotus Cafe, which makes it an ideal spot for children to play while adults watch on over an enjoyable meal or drink at our beautiful cafe.
Every weekend and each day during school holidays kids can also enjoy free face painting in the playground by our talented team of facepainters!

I visited Crystal Castle while on a family trip in August, as soon as you drive in the gates you can feel a peaceful and positive energy surround you,
it's absolutely magical.

Crystal Castle has been around for ages and as a long-time local it was one of those places that I always thought I'd get around to visiting... one day.
I finally made it this year, when we visited for my daughter's birthday.
It's a great place to wander around, learn about crystals and enjoy a wonderful meal in the lovely cafe. Highly recommended.
