Crystals For Letting Go
The days are getting shorter in the southern hemisphere as we head towards the March Equinox and the cooler autumn weather. As the leaves turn, it’s a lovely time for us too to start turning inward: a time for shedding and letting go to make room for fresh inspiration.
Crystals can be supportive in helping us to release the old and move forward. Working with crystals in meditation with intention, or by placing them on chakra points or in grids is a wonderful way to encourage this letting go. Some crystals that are supportive for this autumnal energy are Rutilated Quartz, Smoky Quartz and Aquamarine.
Rutilated Quartz is a beautiful stone with needle-like inclusions of the mineral rutile. It is believed to cleanse and energise the aura. Powerful Smoky Quartz with its cleansing energy, is said to be helpful in releasing old patterns and belief systems that may be holding you back. Aquamarine with its exquisite blue colour, is believed to be a soothing stone that can support you to let go and move past difficult emotions and find detachment.
You can find all these crystals and so many more in our gift shop. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
Nepal Wheelchair Marathon
With your support Crystal Castle sponsored the third Kathmandu wheelchair marathon to highlight the issues of treatment of other-abled people in Nepal.
This month the bustling streets of Kathmandu were filled with traffic of a different kind as over 200 participants raced each other in the famous city.
Organised by Bodhisattvas in Action (BIA), one of the wonderful charitable foundations regularly supported by the Crystal Castle, the marathon participants covered an impressive distance of 4.5 kilometres in their wheelchairs.
The annual event helps raise awareness and break down barriers towards people with disabilities, by showcasing their strength, enthusiasm and capabilities.
Thank you for helping us to make a difference in the lives of people all over the world. By visiting the Crystal Castle and Shambhala Gardens you enable us to help people in need around the globe.
