After a recent tour to Nepal Toni and her crew flew out just 36 hours before the earthquake hit. We now invite you to come together as a community to help Nepal with 100% of the funds raised going directly to organizations and people on the ground in Nepal.

Here is an insight from Toni about their experience and the motivation behind coming together as a community to help precious Nepal:

"It would turn out we left Nepal 36 hours before the devastating earthquake would hit, leaving us all gutted and concern and bittersweet feelings for our trip and the Nepal Crew we left behind. It took us quite a few days to hear news from our beautiful Nepalese friends. Hari at Life Dream Adventured who organized our trek, was the first to make contact, and then our guides Sabin and Ob. We were told that most of our sherpas were accounted for, but we are still waiting to hear what has happened to the ones who lived near the epicenter. We are keeping our fingers and toes crossed.

Every one of our Nepal crew we've heard from lost their home, place of business, and villages, but happily their families are safe.

Instantly hearing about the devastation I became motivated to do something to help my friends in Nepal. And so, the Rebuild Nepal Benefit Concert was created in collaboration with the Crystal Castle team, the @Byron Bay Community Radio Station - Bay FM 99.9 - Byron Bay Australia, CRN - Community Radio Network, Biggsounds Productions, Renny Sax Photography+ MUA and Oztix.

With the active support of BayFm Manager Billy Martin, and the Byron Bay community radio station, our benefit concert will be broadcasted in full to the local Byron community, and edited down to an hour for national broadcast. The hour broadcast will feature the best of performances of the event, intercut with in-depth on the ground commentary like interviews with the Australian Embassy in Nepal and other people on the ground.

It is important to our group of collaborators that 100% of the funds raised goes directly to the organizations and people on the ground in Nepal. Because of this, we will be traveling to Nepal at our own expense to access what is most needed and vet organizations that are doing excellent work. There is a lot of corruption and we are determined to ensure that our funds do the work intended."
