Rainforest Walk|Crystal Castle

In partnership with Rainforest Rescue, over 10,000 trees have been planted since mid 2006, helping to re-establish The Big Scrub, which was once the largest expanse of subtropical rainforest in Australia, extending over 75,000 hectares between Byron Bay, Ballina and Lismore.

The one kilometre walk was planted with massive help from our wonderful community and is aimed at restoring the indigenous plants and wildlife of this area. Enjoy abundant bird life, water sculpted feature rocks and rare species of wildlife. ‘And don’t forget to look up, you may even see a koala!’

Crystal Castle has been around for ages and as a long-time local it was one of those places that I always thought I'd get around to visiting... one day.
I finally made it this year, when we visited for my daughter's birthday.
It's a great place to wander around, learn about crystals and enjoy a wonderful meal in the lovely cafe. Highly recommended.

I visited Crystal Castle while on a family trip in August, as soon as you drive in the gates you can feel a peaceful and positive energy surround you,
it's absolutely magical.
